Purchase of a mobile crusher

We are pleased to announce that Ambroosius OÜ has purchased a mobile crusher with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) under the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan 2023–2027.

We thank the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (PRIA) and the European Union for the support that made an investment of this scale possible.

Support details

Beneficiary: Ambroosius OÜ
Fund: European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
Authority: Agricultural Registers and Information Board (PRIA)

Brief description of the activity

The activity involved the purchase of a tracked mobile crusher, which allows construction and demolition waste — concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt and bricks — to be processed on site and crushed into reusable material.

Objectives

  • Process construction and demolition waste where it arises, reducing haulage to landfill

  • Supply reused material (such as crushed aggregate) to local customers on site, with shorter lead times

  • Reduce the extraction of natural resources from the ground (quarries), along with fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions from transport

Expected results

The investment increases the company's capacity to process construction and demolition waste into reusable material. More detailed quantitative indicators will be published on this page as the activity progresses.

The crusher at work

An excavator loads material into the crusher's feed hopper. Reinforcing steel and other metal parts can also be separated from the concrete.

Feedback

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy and to the development of our region. The new crusher is already in operation and helps us turn construction waste into usable material rather than hauling it needlessly to landfill.

If you are also planning projects that contribute to environmental protection, it is worth exploring PRIA's support options. Our own experience with the application process was thoroughly positive and encouraging.
